I had been eyeing this products so long and now finally I have it in my makeup bag. When I recently walked into local mall to get a new summer dress, I casually popped into The Body Shop. Little did I know that The Body Shop has a deal going on, where everything from 'Honey Bronze' collection is 20% off. I panicked in my head and I grabbed 'Honey Bronze' Bronzing Powder within seconds. With things like these, that you always lurk around when you step into shop, you eventually have to get them. And this was a perfect opportunity!
The selling lady was super helpful, gave me punch of samples with my purchase and I went home with my new summer dress and a bronzer also perfect for the summer!
This powder comes in three shades and I got the lightest one available. The other three didn't really appeal to me, one of them was too orange and the other one was like any other random bronzer on the market. The lightest one, shade 01, looks like a crisp matte biscuit I would like to eat immediately. Not too burnt or nor to raw, just perfectly finished and baked! It is silky and colour payoff is as good as it gets with the light shade like this. The advantage with picking out a shade like this is the natural warmth it gives without screaming 'I just layered a bronzer on'. It is perfect for contouring and even more suitable for all over bronzer to get that sun kissed bronzed look.
Shade isn't ashy, muddy or orange, hence I love it so much. I can go heavy handed with this one and you still look like a proper human being. I would recommend it to anyone. This particular shade should be in any fair skinned girl's makeup bag. Or when you feel you aren't that confident when applying makeup and your contouring always turns out rubbish, this a must-have comfort zone shade to start out with. As I said, it is easy to work with, it does half the contouring job for you with its silky texture and you can be certain you won't end up like a muddy disco ball.
I am sure, there are a lot of you, who also love it! Am I too late to step on a 'Honey Bronze' bandwagon?
