I haven't used my mineral makeup that much lately. Now that it is warmer outside I am all the way into emphasising natural complexion rather than covering everything up in my face. I rummaged through my makeup and found some truly beautiful things to do my face of the day with. Good thing about minerals are that they don't go bad so fast and I really don't remember the last time I used so little amount of products in order to do my full face.
Here are some bits and loves I used today. Some of them I have already featured in my blog a while ago. Some of them are unfortunately discontinued. Some aren't that good.
For my base I used
Ferro Cosmetics Ultimate Foundation in shade Honey Creme. It is pretty amazing foundation. It covers everything that is unneeded, but at the same time gives very natural and light finish.
My blusher was by
Emani Minerals Crushed Mineral Blush in shade Barely There. The shade on their website is totally wrong in my opinion. In real life it is very peachy pink with golden sheen to it. It gives healthy flush on the cheekbones. No highlighter needed when using this.
For the eye shadow I used Sassy Minerals Silk Lustre in shade Heartache. This company doesn't work anymore. I once had this shadow in sample size and haven't really used it much since then. It is basically warm coral pink tone with a little bit of golden sheen in it.
As my eye liner I used
Alima Pure Luminous Shimmer Eye Liner in shade Paparazzi. Again it is in sample size and I haven't used it very much. Silly me, because it is amazing warm brown with barely there golden shimmer in it. It has zero fall out and stays on like wonder.
On my lashes I used L'oreal Double Extend mascara which is good but not great. It tends to clump when applying too much. But I am queen of mascara, I always apply too much so this doesn't work for me. I will use this mascara up but won't buy it again.
Are you comfortable using mineral makeup? I know that a lot of women don't use it because they are scared of loose powders, fall out, they think it is tricky to use etc.
