KONAD STAMPING ART

OC Nail Art`s Konad Nail Stamping Art Kit includes disk with different images, scraper, stamper and of course stamping polish. There are so many possibilities and combinations you can choose between.

I have The C-Kit and Starter Kit. First I practiced, practiced and practiced. I didn`t get the image on my stamper. So I found out that I must do it as quick as I can, and finally it worked. It is also important that you clean your stamper every time you make the image. Don`t be depressed, if the first time result isn`t as good as you hoped. Results will be better in time and practice.

My first experience with Konad Stamping. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, it really looked fabulous in real. I definitely try variety of these nail decorations and will update this section. It is like you have visited salon, but the secret is that you made it all by yourself :)

JURLIQUE SKINCARE

I`m sorry I have been away so long, but I was sick quite badly. I`m not healty yet, but I feel myself better already. So I had chance to try out some skin care products by Jurlique. These products are natural and smell of these is talking for itself.
So I talk about products I really like.

Balancing Foaming Cleanser

It promises to leave your skin balanced and hydrated and that is what it really does. I applied it to my cleaning sponge and it it began to lather up. Aft
er rinsing off with warm water my pores seem to look cleaner. I really like it because I have combinated skin, oily on t-zone and dry on cheeks. It doesn`t leave dry and unpleasant feeling to my skin, so I didn`t have to run to my moisturiser as the others balancing cleansers usually do. I`m sure you know that itchy feeling after washing your skin with products for oily skin.

Balancing Day Care Cream

Next one is cream I first doubted about if I felt the consistence of it. It felt a little bit greasy and supposedly heavy on my skin, but I still tried it out. It was a big surprise to me. It isn`t heavy at all, is absorbing into your skin in a moment and it really is balancing. It smells divine and very natural/pure. Definitely different from regular moisturisers. It slides on like miracle.
As you already know I have running nose and quite bad illness. That caused me very bad rash and dryness around my nose, it was a relief!

I haven`t tried out Jurlique`s Citrus Silk Finishing Powder that helps to achieve extra balanced face, but I would really like to get this.

OILY THERAPY FOR DRY HAIR

Having dry hair or ends too? I have tried plenty of hair products and I sticked to oil therapy. I do this probably once a month or when I feel need to use this. I apply oil especially on my ends. There can be used cocnut oil, olive oil or whatever that gives you moisturise kick. I personally use bur oil. It is available in drugstores. It helps your hair to grow, when you apply it also on your roots. So I am holding it all over my hair right now and it is been already half of the day for now, when it is in my hair. I usually take all day to hold it on my hair, so it could give best results. I suggest you to not go out with it, because your hair will look like you haven`t washed it very long time :)

After all it gives you soft and moisturised hair that are better to deal with. I don`t belive in leave-in products, because when I wash it off, my hair look the same that before applying leave-in product. It isn`t permanent. So I have became huge fan of moisturising oils. And I love that it is NATURAL! You should just watch that it isn`t include mineral oil in it.

BEST HAND CREAM

My hands are stubborn and they are rarely pleased. Until now! This is only hand cream I really feel is doing its work. It is based on glycerine, not mineral oil. Last has really spoil and mess up my hands. I don`t know if this product is available worldwide, because it is produced in Finland and made especially for northern and scandinavian women and their skin, but I think it would be good to everbody who has dry hands. Yes, it is Lemon Juice & Glycerine, and just a small amount will help aid in the healing of dry and severely damaged skin on hands and even feet.
I bought it from local drugstore.

DIY AT HOME FLAWLESS SKIN TIP

I don`t really remember where I heard or read it, but it belongs to my beauty tips arsenal for a very long time now. I also remember that ever so beautiful Shakira is using this method and her mom (or grandmother?) taught it to her.

Okay, you`ll need lemon and sugar for this. Squeeze a little bit lemon juice and mix it with sugar until you get not too runny paste. Use this to scrub your face, hold this mixture a moment to take an effect on your skin and wash it off with luke warm water. Please avoid your eye are and don't get the mixture to get into your eyes. Eye usually also go over my lips just to make them smooth.

Lemon juice cleans your pores, because it contains citric acid that dissolves oil which sits in your pores (blackheads are oil in your pores). Also it softens your skin and brightens pigmenet spots, pigmentation.

So, make your skin glow! It works for me :)

HAVING NAIL PROBLEMS?

1. Nails don`t grow?

Normal growth is about 1 mm per week. Wrong nutrition may hold back your normal nail growth.

Solution: check out your menu or start using nutritious nail products.

2. Nails are breaking easily?

Main problem is that you are filing your nails wrong. If you are filing your nail tips too sharp, you can be sure that your nails are going to break.

Solution: Use some nail strenghtener when filing your nails.

3. Nails are dry?

Dryness becomes from applying nail polish way too often. Always use base coat!

Solution: Try to avoid using nail polish for awhile. However, if you can`t stop that, use acetone free nail polish remover. Don`t remove your lacquer more often than once a week. Use some products that are moisturising your nails.

4. Nails are peeling?

You are using wrong filing technique. Don`t cut your nails with scissors, it will bruise your nails.

Solution: When you are filing nails, drag your nail file only one way. Considering the angle between nail and file, it should be about 45 degrees. Use nail strenghteners!

5. Cuticules are hard and dry?

Healthy cuticules are not stuck on nails. On the other hand it is all about dryness!

Solution: Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise! If you don`t have specific product for nails, use vaseline. Massage it into the root of nails, bringing attention to cuticules.

IN SEARCH OF PERFECT FOUNDATION?

With all the different cosmetics out there, it can be hard to find a foundation that is just right for your complexion and skin type. Changes in the seasons and your diet can give your skin a different glow or feel, so it’s important to know how to shop for foundation that will keep your skin healthy and your pores unclogged.
Know your skin type

If your skin is oily, you may want to try a foundation that is water-based or oil-free. For dry skin, try a cream or liquid foundation. Keep in mind that darker skin tends to be oilier because more light is reflected off of women of color. Fairer skin mostly has reddish pigments, and darker skin has yellowish undertones, so be sure to use this rule to shop for the right foundation. When you are testing foundation, put a small amount on your jaw line. This is the most accurate way to tell if the foundation will blend in with your skin color; testing the makeup on your cheeks is not always the best way to go, since your cheeks are usually darker than the rest of the face. Testing foundation on the back of the hand isn’t too reliable either, since your hand and your face are rarely the same color.

Application
Before you apply your foundation, use a moisturizer after cleansing so that your makeup will stay on top of the skin. You can apply makeup with a sponge or your fingertips; be sure to blend quickly and evenly. In especially hot weather, you can set your makeup with powder by using a blush brush.
If you want to use a concealer, you’ll need to select one that is best for your skin as well. It’s best to use a flat makeup brush to apply concealer, since it covers more area of the face and won’t cake up as quickly. Apply concealer to the under-eye area to hide dark circles and fine lines, and you can even use concealer to hide most blemishes and to give skin a more even tone. You should choose a concealer that is a little lighter than your foundation, so that your face won’t look shadowed when you apply your foundation. You can even use the dried out makeup in the cap of your foundation as a concealer. Since this makeup is a little drier, it will be thicker, and will match your foundation exactly.Put on the right face for every seasonOf course, for summer time, you’ll need a slightly darker or redder shade of foundation. Make sure that you go through the same procedure to find summer foundation as you do for your general shade, since your skin may change shade slightly several times during the summer. You may also want to use a bronzer or blush during the warmer months to give your skin a healthy glow. If you have oily skin, keep in mind that your skin will absorb color readily, which means your blush or bronzer may begin to look darker as the day goes on. So, keep a compact of translucent powder handy to absorb oil throughout the day.
During the winter, you’ll need to go cosmetic shopping again to find a shade of foundation that is slightly lighter. And, if you wear blush, be sure to select darker shades for the fall or winter.
When applying blush, be sure not to apply to the cheekbones; the apple of the cheeks is the correct place for blush. And, you can use a flat makeup sponge to blend in your blush after applying it to the face with a blush. It’s also a good idea to find different shades of eye shadow and lipstick to wear with the seasons; slightly darker and matte shades of lipstick and eye shadow for the winter and glossier, pink and gold shades for summer will help to complete your look and compliment your foundation extremely well.

MY FAVORITE PERFUMES

Here are my perfumes I reach my hand for every single day. Usually I am alternating between these, so I get to choose my scent based on my mood, day, season etc. That said I am trying to tell little something about every four of them.

Fendi: Palazzo

The scent has plenty of warm & comforting woody smell. It looks like its been spiced up by orange scent and it asks for a nice evening out or staying at home in front of the fire place watching an old movie with glass of wine in the hands. So comforting. So woody. Everyone should have some fragrance like that at home!

Versace: Bright Crystal

Pretty, fresh, clean is what comes to mind.
Something you could wear to a movie-date, as it is quite sheer, it fades fairly quickly and you really need to be in close proximity to smell it..
However, when he does, I guarantee his heart will beat a little faster and he won't be able to control himself, he definitely will find himself nuzzling your neck for reasons unknown.

Paco Rabanne: Black XS for Her

Hot chocolate pudding with cranberries รก la Paco Rabanne!

The scent in general is romantic, a bit gothic, and rocking, very creamy and sensual. In the beginning you smell the crisp fruitiness of the cranberrys and the spicy touch by the pink pepper, then it becomes softer you can smell the cacao and and the velvet rose. At the end it's really warm and woody, and dry of the patchouli and you smell a little the sweetness of the vanilla.

Jennifer Lopez: Glow

Notes are: neroli, pink grapefruit, rose, sandalwood, amber, musk, jasmine, iris and vanilla. J.Lo describes Glow as ‘a skin-scent’. It is described as ‘clean’, even soapy with a sweet, powdery trail. I really love it beacause it suits perfectly with spring, and the scent of jasmine is quite strong, therefore it stays on long.
